Calgary Theravadin Meditation Society

 
The CTMS group is open to all meditators with experience in Vipassana (Mindfulness) Meditation. The evening includes chanting, meditation, a Dhamma talk and discussion focusing on Buddhism and Vipassana meditation in the Theravadin tradition.

The meditation schedule for April is as follows:

April 4th - Vipassana meditation
April 11th - NO MEDITATION
April 18th - Metta meditation
April 25th - NO MEDITATION

The meditation schedule for May is as follows:

May 2nd - Vipassana meditation
May 5th - SPECIAL VESAK MEDITATION 7PM TO MIDNIGHT.
May 9th - NO MEDITATION
May 16th - NO MEDITATION
May 23rd - NO MEDITATION
May 30th - NO MEDITATION

There will be no Wednesday night meditation for the months of June, July or August. Wednesday night meditation will resume on September 6th.

Metta Study Group


Loving Kindness (or Metta) Meditation is designed to awaken our innate qualities of love, generosity, and friendliness toward ourselves and others. This group focuses on developing a loving kindness meditation practice and learning to integrate the attitude of loving kindness in daily life.
